The fascinating relationship between man and plants, and the search for personal balance
A talk on 21 April - 7.00 pm at Limonaia Nardi, Via Tortona 30, Milan - FuoriSalone 2023

The captivating and primordial relationship between man and plants and the search for balance and personal well-being are the focus of the second Talk organised at the FuoriSalone spaces of Nardi, entitled “Benessere e natura nel giardino contemporaneo” (Well-being and nature in the contemporary garden). 

Hosted by the journalist and author Antonella Galli, the topic will be discussed by the doctor and phytotherapy lecturer Stefania Piloni (the author of Le piante ci parlano. Entrare in sintonia con il linguaggio segreto della natura per ritrovare se stessi). Also participating will be the landscape architect and writer Antonio Perazzi, author of major projects in Italy and the world and of columns about plants in the Sunday edition of Il Sole 24 Ore and the monthly magazine Gardenia.

The protagonists

Stefania Piloni is a doctor, lecturer in phytotherapy at the University of Milan and author of many books including Le piante ci parlano. Entrare in sintonia con il linguaggio segreto della natura per ritrovare se stessi, an emotional journey to listen again to the voice of nature, beyond the noise of the city.

Antonio Perazzi is a landscape architect and writer. He investigates the relationship between plants and people, in large urban public space projects and in private gardens. He has created many prestigious landscape projects in Italy and around the world. He also writes two columns: Verdissimo, in the Sunday edition of Il Sole 24 Ore and the long-standing Bustine di paesaggio in the monthly magazine Gardenia.

Antonella Galli is a journalist and author. For over twenty years, she has been working in and exploring the world of creativity and design. She is the author of the Arredo & Design pages for Il Sole 24 Ore and writes about architecture and design for trade publications. She has written and hosted four series on stories about Italy and the Italians for Rai Radio3. In March 2023, with Pierluigi Masini, she published the book I luoghi del design in Italia. Quattordici viaggi alle sorgenti del progetto (Places of design in Italy. Fourteen journeys to the source of the project), edited by Baldini+Castoldi.
